David Warchol is the Enterprise Risk Safety Manager for Tosh Farms. David focuses on implementing the most up-to-date and efficient safety procedures to secure Tosh Farms place as a top leader in the pork production industry. It is his job to oversee safety procedures for Tosh Farms, Bacon by Gosh, and Tosh Pork.
David is a Henry County graduate. He spent six years in the off shore industry as a commercial diver where he learned the importance of safety in the workforce. From there, he went on to pursue safety as a career at Austal, USA in Mobile, Alabama where he oversaw all safety procedures in the production of US naval ships. He holds several industry certifications: 30 hour OSHA, 40 hour HAZWOPER, Shipyard Competent Person, National Safety Council Defensive Driving, Hydrogen Sulfide training, American Heart Association First Aid CPR/Blood Borne Pathogens Course, and NDT level 1 & 2.
David is married to Hannah and they are expecting their first child in February of 2019. They have three dogs – Phoebe, Penny, and Sandy. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and staying healthy and spending time with his family.
