Florencio Alvarez

November’s employee spotlight is Florencio Alvarez! He has been a trailer and farm implement washer at Tosh Farms for 11 YEARS!! That job consists of washing trailers for the pigs so that they are ready the next day to return to their daily routine. He also washes agricultural implements and service vans. Working in the wash bay requires specific biosecurity guidelines to clean the trailers to keep the pigs healthy and safe.

Florencio is married to Guadalupe, and has a beautiful family. He has 2 children, Emily, 5 years old, and Emmanuel, 2 years old. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing with his kids, and above all, cooking for his family.

Florencio’s supervisor says he is a great employee. He never complains, is always smiling, and is always so helpful.
