Carlos Morales

July Employee Spotlight!!

Carlos Morales works in Breeding/Farrowing at our Crutchfield sow farm in McKenzie, TN. He has been at Tosh Farms for almost a year. At Tosh, he takes care of little pigs and sows. He makes sure they are eating fresh food and drinking water. If the pigs are sick, he helps with treatments. On top of that, he does Day 1 activities, castrates, loads rooms, and washes rooms for the next group of pigs.

“At the beginning, everything was hard! But now, well now I get tired, but I am okay with that.”

Carlos is a foster dad to a cat named Goro, and 3 dogs! His favorite hobby is Crossfit. Even if he has a bad day, or is tired, he is always and the gym. He also likes to bake. In his free time, Carlos likes music festivals and traveling. Which is perfect because he can do both of those things at the same time! What he really loves to do though is spend time with his family. “They’re the most important to me.”

His biggest accomplishment is being the athlete that he has become. He says he is not the best, but he is proud of his abilities.

Carlos is a TN Visa, and he says that his experience at Tosh has been VERY awesome. He didn’t know what to expect when he got here, and he has been treated so well. He says the people that he works with and the people at Topflight Crossfit are the best!

As for the future, he is just taking things one day at a time. No rush. He just wants to be a free soul.
