Department Spotlight: Huntland
Welcome to Huntland, where every week is all about new beginnings — breeding sows, farrowing piglets, weaning them, and sending them off to their next adventure before starting it all over again!
We’ve been part of the Tosh family since 2001, and we’re growing right along with our pigs — trading in old-school gestation stalls for new small-group pens where 10 sows can hang out together in style.
Between us, we’ve racked up over 200 years of experience at Tosh (yep, that’s a lot of feeding, farrowing, and farm talk) and 5 of us have been here over 20 years. We’ve got brothers, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and even a father-daughter duo on the team — but after all these years, we’re basically one big farm family.
When we’re not caring for pigs, you’ll find us tending small cattle herds, cheering at local school games, spending time with our kids, volunteering in our communities, or catching up at church.
And the best part? We’re just getting started — our big remodel wraps up in 2026, and we can’t wait to show off the new digs!
