Meet the small but mighty team behind Tosh’s Railroad Research Barn! Led by Christy Whitten (Supervisor) and supported by Leia Triplett (Research Barn Helper), this dynamic duo plays a crucial role in Tosh’s success.

Since 2013, the Railroad Research Barn has been home to countless research trials focused on feed, vaccines, and genetics. As a wean-to-market site, their work is all about gathering accurate data—like pen weights and daily feed amounts—to help Tosh make informed, effective decisions.

What makes them special? Their strong teamwork, dedication to animal care, and pride in precision. Outside of work, you’ll likely find them spending time with their families. Looking ahead, the team is excited to implement a new, modern feed system—a big step toward the future of research at Tosh!
