June Employee Spotlight
This month, we’re excited to spotlight a dedicated member of our IT Department whose behind-the-scenes work keeps Tosh running smoothly in more ways than one: Connor Warren.
Since joining Tosh in 2018 and transitioning into the IT Department in 2021, Connor has taken on a wide range of responsibilities—from troubleshooting computer and network infrastructure to working with electrical systems, access controls, and gate security. His versatility and commitment make him an essential part of the team.
The IT Department plays a crucial role in supporting all areas of Tosh, even when the work isn’t directly IT-related. Whether it’s solving technical issues or helping other departments run more efficiently, the team is always ready to jump in and provide solutions that keep the business moving forward.
What sets the IT team apart is the variety of work and the broad exposure to the entire company. One day might involve handling an issue locally, and the next could send them across the state—or even out of state—responding to needs at different facilities. It’s a role that demands adaptability, technical skill, and a willingness to tackle just about anything.
Outside of work, Connor enjoys the best of both seasons—duck hunting in the cold months and spending time on the river in a boat when the weather warms up.
One of his proudest accomplishments at Tosh was climbing a 200-foot tower to install air fiber, creating a 17-mile connection between the main office and a remote barn. It was a high-stakes project that perfectly captures his dedication and technical expertise.
Over the years, working in IT has helped Connor grow well beyond traditional computer work, developing a diverse set of troubleshooting skills that span multiple technologies. Currently, the department is working toward a major goal: updating and fully networking every Tosh barn location—a project that promises to elevate operations across the company.
Connor sums up his experience at Tosh simply: “Every day is a new day.” It’s that constant variety and challenge that make his work both interesting and rewarding—and why he continues to be such a valuable part of the team.
We’re grateful to Connor for his hard work, adaptability, and dedication to keeping Tosh connected—thank you for everything you do!
