Employee Spotlight: Tyler Ruddy

Meet Tyler! He is someone who’s grown right alongside the team and brings energy, leadership, and heart to everything he does. From starting at the Martin sow units nearly nine years ago to now overseeing all Tosh-owned finishing sites as part of the livestock regional team, Tyler’s journey is a true example of dedication in action. Along the way, he’s taken on roles as a baby pig tech, service tech, and now a leader helping raise pigs from weaning all the way to market.

What stands out most? It’s not just the growth—it’s the people. Tyler credits the team’s strong (and fun) dynamic as the reason he genuinely enjoys showing up every day. And that positive culture has helped fuel major progress, from expanding the team to increasing production year after year.

Outside of work, life is just as full. Tyler married his wife Tiffany last November, and together they spend time with their two dogs, Shiloh and Josie, along with friends and family. Whether it’s watching sports, hunting, or cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes football, there’s never a dull moment.

When it comes to accomplishments, Tyler keeps it grounded: doing work he loves with people he respects—and building a life with his best friend. Looking ahead, he’s focused on continued growth, both personally and professionally, and is excited for another great year ahead.
