Tosh Farms would like to introduce you to our April spotlight employee, Ricardo Cerda. Ricardo is a breeding manager at our sow barns in Huntland. He has been with Tosh for almost 16 years. It is his job to manage the care and production of open and gestating sows. He also works closely with the farrowing crew to promote a positive farm environment for everyone at Huntland and especially the animals.
In Ricardo’s spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his family as well as helping with the activities at church. His proudest accomplishments are becoming a breeding manager along with the relationships he’s developed with his team. They are like an extended family to him.
His experience at Tosh has been awesome. He enjoys working for a place that will allow him to grow professionally and he’s excited to see where the next 15 years will take him.
“I want to thank Tosh for the confidence that you have in me to do my job for the last 15 years.” – Ricardo Cerda.
