Abigail Jenkins, PhD

Abigail Jenkins serves as Director of Nutrition for Tosh Pork. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University. She then completed her Master’s degree in Swine Reproductive Physiology at North Carolina State University in 2022. In June 2025, Abigail received her Ph.D. in Swine Nutrition from Kansas State University.
Abigail joined Tosh Farms shortly after completing her doctoral degree and is responsible for all nutrition decisions for the company’s 38,000 sows and more than one million pigs produced annually. In her role, she works closely with the feed mill team to ensure high-quality feed is delivered to the right pigs at the right time, optimizing performance across the system.
Abigail resides in Henry, Tennessee. Outside of work, she enjoys going to livestock shows with her family, antique shopping, and baking.
